AR Experience

1. Start the Experience Scan the QR code on the map or click the button below. No need to download any app, it works directly in your browser!

2. Grant Permissions Your browser will ask for permission to access the camera and motion sensors. Please select “Allow” to enable the augmented reality features.

3. Find the Marker Walk to the location indicated on the map (e.g., The Pillars of Acre). Stand directly in front of the object.

4. Scan and Explore Hold your phone up and align the object within your screen. Tap the icons to hear stories, discover new insights, and navigate through each location.

Suggested path

1. Piazzetta dei Leoncini (scan the face of the lion nearer to the Basilica)
2. St Mark’s Square flagpole (scan the base of the flagpole in the middle while you have the entire Basilica at your back).
3. Marble (scan the big marble cross near the Pillars of Acre)
4. Pillar of Acre (scan the one near the marble cross)
5. Monument of the Tetrarchs (scan the side near Porta Della Carta)
6. Porta della Carta (scan the little decorative lions on the left side of the door)
7. Capital of Justice (scan the capital of the first column near the Basilica, keep the representation of the justice in the middle of your screen)
8. Column of San Todaro (watching the canale, go to the column on the right – the one with San Todaro on top – and scan the base part near the cafe)
9. Prigioni Nuove (at the end of the Palazzo Ducale, just before the water, stop and scan the beautiful arch with the lion on top)
10. Drunkenness of Noah (get on Ponte della Paglia, and you will find yourself on the same level of this important relief, visible in the last part of Palazzo Ducale)
